Amtrak's Northeast Corridor offers daily service to two nearby connecting stations:

Kingston, RI (KIN): Uber/Lyft available for transportation to downtown Newport (about 20 minute drive).

Providence, RI (PVD): Uber/Lyft and taxis available for transportation to downtown Newport (about 40 minute drive).

Amtrak departs from Metropark (Edison, NJ), New Brunswick, Princeton, New York City, Boston, Bridgeport, Stamford and more.

It's easiest to fly into the Providence airport (PVD) and from there drive 40 minutes to downtown Newport.

Uber/Lyft services are available from the airport as well as taxis.

Public transportation by bus is also available from PVD to Newport, taking approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, including transfers.

Newport is within driving distance from NY, NJ, PA, and MA.
